The SECAD Sustainable Communities Training Programme is a FREE programme aimed at community groups, volunteers, businesses, young people and individuals who are interested in developing and nurturing sustainability withing their local communities.
During these online workshops, we will
- Discuss Sustainability and the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals
- Provide an overview of the SECAD Sustainable Communities Training Programme
- Introduce the trainers delivering the programme (Change by Degrees in South Cork; VOICE in West Cork)

On the point of bees, if you look up the bee sanctuary website you will see repeated calls for the cessation of spraying of chemicals, it is killing our bees and other insects. And still despite all the calls from so many different sources, widespread spraying is happening in our city and county. If you are against the chemical spraying of verges and around the base of trees make your voice heard, campaign to stop it, pick up the phone and request it stops be it in your housing estate or on your public roads.
