Public Health Interventions Lessons from the Finnish North Karelia Project

This talk will be focused on a population level public health interventions that drastically reduced cardio-vascular disease and some cancers and increased life expectancy.

Professor Pukka will present on the Finnish experiences from the North Karelia Project and more recent international developments, principles and perspectives on chronic disease prevention and health promotion including reducing smoking, increased activity, more social connection and more fruit and vegetables consumption
